2018 Symposium Highlights:

  • 120 attendees representing academic institutions, interested companies in industry, and government organizations 
    • A total of 30 student presenters from 14 universities presented their research
  • Kickoff events included Welcome Reception at the Varsity Club with a cornhole tournament for interested attendees
    • 19 cornhole teams participated in the tournament
    • Winning team: "TRCIB" - Austin Kelly (TRC) and Mike Katzenberger (Virginia Tech)
    • Runner up team: "Children of the Cornhole" - Ethan Douglas (CHOP) and Angela Tesny (OSU)
  • Annual banquet at Faculty Club, networking and team trivia
