Dr. Bolte and Julie Bing’s BETHA grant was featured in the OSU College of Engineering News today.

Congratulations to Dr. Bolte and Julie Bing for receiving a Battelle Engineering, Technology and Human Affairs (BETHA) award! With the staggering number of child restraints on the roads being used incorrectly, their project goal is to educate parents parents and caregivers on the proper way to utilize modern child restraint technology to decrease the high rates of child restraint usage errors in society today.

Michelle Murach, Sam Goldman, Rakshit Ramachandra, and Julie Bing did a great job representing the IBRC at AAAM this week. Each student gave a presentation on their research, and Michelle and Sam also participated in the student/mentor event.

The IBRC held its first annual Training Days for new students. We’ve got a great new group of students – looking forward to the 2015/2016 school year!
