- Kickoff events included Welcome Reception at the Varsity Club with a cornhole tournament for interested attendees
- 19 cornhole teams participated in the tournament
- Winning team: "Philly Raptors" - Colin Huber (Children's Hospital of Philadelphia) and Daniel Martel (University of Waterloo)
- Runner up team: "Creamed Corn" - Zach Eshelman (OSU) and Nate Williams (OSU)
- Annual banquet at Faculty Club, networking and team trivia
- 10 teams of 8-10 symposium attendees
- 6 rounds of challenging trivia questions
- Winning team: "All that matters is we win!"
